Electives

We run a large number of small groups between free time and dinner, and you get to choose which one to join. You can even swap after the first day if you'd rather try something new. Groups vary from year to year. They can include things like jazz, choir, Brazilian samba music, saxophone ensemble, cello ensemble, percussion, Celtic music, string ensemble …

Or if you're the kind of person who likes to shake things up and push boundaries, electives like 'experimental music' are highly creative, spontaneous and can take your musicality into fresh places. Or you can do the 'Media' elective - click here to see the movies we've made about Camp!

At the end of the week, the elective groups perform in the Friday night public concert.

For advanced Campers, we have three ensembles whose members are selected at the auditions - the senior big band, senior strings and senior woodwind ensembles.
